GP Fall School Vietnam

Jointly offered by the Royal University Phnom Penh, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities at Vietnam National University Hanoi and the Center for Global Politics at Free University Berlin
Curriculum
Each year, the curriculum encompasses topics reflecting developments and debates in global political and economic processes in the 21st century.
In 2011, particular emphasis was placed on conflict resolution and the role of the media in politics.

- International Conflict Resolution
- Regional Security in South East Asia
- Peace and Conflict in South East Asia
- The EU after Lisbon: Integration and External Action
- ASEAN, Economic Integration and South East Asia
- Simulation Game: Terrorism and Crisis Management
A joint certificate of participation is issued upon successful completion.
Supporting Program
The extracurricular program usually includes visits of various historical and cultural sights around the host city and a karaoke night.
Admission
Your background:
- knowledge and interest in global politics
- first academic degree (B.A. or equivalent) in International Relations, Political Science or Economics
- excellent command of English

- transcripts of former academic achievements
- language diploma and other relevant document
The next admission period will start on May 21, 2012. Completed applications must be received by August 3, 2012.
Generous funding is provided by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). There are no tuition fees for the fall school. Participants are responsible for their travel and living expenses.
